Entry Level
Train with our technician prior to his retirement. Work and study towards certification through welding equipment specialists Miller and Lincoln in the US. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is mechanically and electronically inclined, with a genuine interest in a career as a certified welding equipment repair technician.
DUTIES:
1. Learn to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on welding equipment2. May be required to work off site for specific clients3. Participate in training programs to develop the skills and knowledge that will lead to certification4. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations5. Maintain clean work area6. Perform work in a neat, orderly fashion7. Ensure tools and equipment are kept in excellent condition8. Complete required reports and forms9. Track time and materials used on each job
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.2. Computer Literate. 3. Knack for trouble shooting.4. Willingness to learn from our experienced technicians.5. Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude.6. Ability to follow technical manual guidelines.7. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction – professional, respectful, and courteous.8. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.9. Detail Oriented. 10. Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.11. Ability to lift 50 pounds.12. Driver's License with a clear abstract.
ASSETS:
1. General welding knowledge 2. Experience in small engine repair or other mechanical trade.
