Welder

CMS Steel Pro Inc is currently looking for qualified welders to join our team. Qualifications- Journeyman or Red Seal - 3- 5 years of experience - Required Certifications o Current 4 position (F,H,V,O) FCAW o Current 4 position (F,H,V,O) SMAW *Provide expiry dates for all tickets.- Additional Items would be considered an asset: o CWB stainless steel ticket o CWB W47.2 aluminum welding ticket o DOL pressure plate/pipe certification o Working at Heights & Confined Space Security Level Requirements (Upon hiring)- Fingerprint & Background Check- Able to pass Reliability Status - Able to pass Controlled Goods Clearance Duties Include- Welding all positions.- Grinding.- Machine equipment set-up (knowledge of welding parameters).- Willing to travel.- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team with tasks and duties beyond welding.- Occasional evening/weekend work may be required.- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.- Job specific hazards/restrictions: o Confined space o Heights o Extreme temperature o Noise o Lifting and awkward positions Benefits- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications o Rate of $36 per hour for red seal with all positions in FCAW & SMAW o Rate of $38 per hour for red seal with all positions in FCAW & SMAW, plus CuNi, Stainless and Pipe o Trade incentives available- Comprehensive benefits package which includes health & dental, Group RRSP and annual boot allowance (after 3 months).- Opportunities for professional development.
