Qualifications- Journeyman or Red Seal - Minimum 3 years of experience Security Level Requirements (Upon hiring)- Fingerprint & Background Check- Able to pass Reliability Status - Able to pass Controlled Goods Clearance Duties Include- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.- Layout, planning and execution of work.- Cutting: zip cut and torch- Proficient in grinding, corner radiusing. - Rigging.- Fire watch.- Tank watch.- Willing to travel.- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team with tasks and duties beyond fabricating.- Job specific hazards/restrictions: o Tight quarters o Confined space o Heights o Tripping o Extreme temperature o Noise o Lifting and awkward positions Benefits- $36/hr for Red seal- Comprehensive benefits package which includes health & dental, Group RRSP and annual boot allowance (after 3 months).- Opportunities for professional development.
