Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements, challenges, and goals.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather detailed insights.
2. Salesforce Solution Design
- Design scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Recommend best practices for platform utilization and integration with third-party systems.
3. Implementation and Configuration
- Customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including custom fields, page layouts, apps, reports, dashboards and automation
- Configure Salesforce components, including objects, workflows, validation rules, automation tools (Flow Builder and Process Builder), and security settings.
4. Client Collaboration and Support
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering recommendations to improve business processes using Salesforce solutions.
- Provide user training, support, and documentation to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues during and after implementation.
5. Industry Expertise (Optional Specialization)
- Leverage expertise in specific industries, such as Financial Services or Nonprofit, to provide tailored solutions.
- Implement specialized Salesforce features, such as Financial Services Cloud’s Action Plans or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features to recommend upgrades and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, configuration, or administration.
- Expertise in one or more Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud).
- Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, or Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional).
- Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flow Builder, Validation Rules, Reports, and Dashboards).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security settings, and automation capabilities.
