Housekeeping Team Lead

Who we are looking for:Wabasca Desmarais Housing Authority/Keekenow Senior Facility is currently seeking a Permanent Full-time Team Lead to lead our Housekeeping Department. Some Key Duties:· Management experience in leading a dynamic team is mandatory.· Scheduling Housekeepers work schedules· Ordering Inventory· Oversee Housekeeping staff· Perform daily, routine and terminal cleaning of resident rooms including disinfecting beds and turning/flipping mattresses, cleaning windows and blind/curtains. Mandatory Qualifications:· Submission of a negative Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check prior to starting work.· Class 5 Driver’s License Qualifications and Skills:· Must have management experience in leading a dynamic team.· Excellent computer skills with proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite and Email· Staff scheduling experience required.· Ordering inventory experience is required.· Facility cleaning experience is required as is the ability to operate related cleaning equipment.· Understand and follow Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures and Universal Precautions.· Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate with others in a respectful manner.· Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position: lifting, standing, bending and pushing carts.· WHMIS and First Aid
