Are you a skilled and safety-conscious driver with a Class 3A license? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering tools, equipment, and materials with precision and professionalism? We’re looking for a Truck Driver – Class 3A to join our seasonal team and play a vital role in supporting our construction and snow removal operations.
What You’ll Do
- Safely load, haul, and deliver tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
- Secure cargo using proper wrapping, tarping, and strapping techniques
- Operate trucks with more than two axles, including 18-speed transmission vehicles
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Conduct routine truck maintenance (greasing, fluid top-ups, cleaning)
- Hook/unhook trailers and operate hydraulic Hook Lift Systems
- Communicate effectively with managers and office staff
- Uphold legal load limits and safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 3A license with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Proficiency in operating standard 18-speed transmission trucks
- Strong understanding of hauling regulations and safety practices
- Physically capable of labor-intensive tasks
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and respectful with excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
Performance Expectations
- 100% completion of daily vehicle inspections and DOT logs
- On-time deliveries at least 90% of the time
- Zero preventable safety incidents or violations
- Proper cargo securing and minimal truck downtime
- Positive feedback from project managers and crew members
