- Investigate and resolve collateral disputes, valuation differences, settlement fails, and reconciliation breaks, escalating material issues promptly.
- Provide independent oversight and reporting on exposures, concentration risks, systemic trends, and emerging issues across assigned portfolios.
- Support risk governance and control programs, including pRCSA, operational risk events, quality assurance, business continuity, regulatory initiatives, and enhancements to risk frameworks and reporting standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for counterparties and internal business partners regarding collateral, disputes, risk exposures, and operational processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Front Office, Credit Risk Management, Legal, Operations, Treasury, Technology, and external clients.
- Provide meaningful risk commentary, recommendations, and insights that support informed decision-making and strengthen risk management effectiveness.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance controls through automation, process redesign, and technology enhancements.
- Participate as a subject matter expert in strategic projects, regulatory implementations, technology upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Support infrastructure modernization and process optimization efforts impacting collateral management and counterparty risk functions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide guidance, mentorship, training, and knowledge transfer to analysts across the team.
