Full-time
Experienced

We are looking for an experienced leader in product strategy, digital experience, and organizational transformation to help shape the evolution of the digital ecosystem for Group Insurance and Group Retirement Savings. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, experience design, service design, customer experience, and digital innovation. The Product Design Strategist will be responsible for defining and evolving the future vision of the digital experience, ensuring it meets user needs, business objectives, and the organization's strategic priorities. You will serve as a strategic advisor, maintain an integrated view of our entire digital ecosystem, and use a variety of strategic design artifacts, experience prototypes, user journeys, and service models to foster stakeholder alignment and guide business decision-making. Unlike a Product Designer role focused on detailed interface design, this position is focused on defining future directions, identifying innovation opportunities, influencing product strategies, driving digital adoption, and maximizing the value delivered to members, clients, and partners. The role will also act as a strategic partner to Sales teams, supporting client and prospect engagements through compelling demonstrations, end-to-end experience narratives, and a clear articulation of our digital vision and value proposition. You will work closely with Product, Business, Technology, Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to support the organization's strategic initiatives and digital transformation. More specifically, you will be required to:
Manage and evolve the end-to-end Figma prototype representing the Group Insurance and Group Retirement Savings digital ecosystem across web and mobile

  • Maintain an integrated view of current and future experiences, ensuring the Figma prototype reflects business priorities, product roadmaps, and strategic directions
  • Influence product direction and the digital roadmap by identifying opportunities for innovation, experience improvement, and value creation for members and clients
  • Translate user needs, client feedback, and business objectives into strategic recommendations that support the evolution of digital products and services
  • Use prototypes, user journeys, and other experience artifacts as tools for communication, alignment, planning, and strategic decision-making
  • Facilitate ideation, design thinking, and innovation workshops to address complex business and customer experience challenges
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Product, Business, and Delivery teams on user experience, accessibility, user research, and UX best practices
  • Provide influential leadership across Product, Technology, UX/CX, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between user needs, business objectives, and transformation initiatives
  • Present the vision and value of digital experiences to clients, executives, and other strategic stakeholders through demonstrations and end-to-end journeys

What we offer*

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus
  • 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year
  • Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement
  • Group insurance including telemedicine
  • Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment
