Facilities Management and Ancillary Services - Power House

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, of the Power House or their replacement, the Stationary Engine Mechanic needs to, based on the law, ensure a safe and efficient operation of all equipment's at the powerhouse. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, instruments, as well as tunnel inspection.

Qualifications:
Hold a 2nd class Steam and B Refrigeration Stationary Engine Mechanic certificate, issued by the Regie du Batiment du Quebec.

Additional Details:

• Status: Full-Time

• Rotating shifts of twelve (12) hours. The shifts are the following: Night shift: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. or Day shift: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each employee concerned is scheduled to work fourteen (14) night shifts and twelve (12) day shifts within each eight (8) week cycle.

• Premium: $5.00/hour Scarcity premium.

• The incumbent will be required to wear a mask and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated areas.
