Who You Will Work With:

The vacant Quality Engineering, Senior Specialist role will report to Leader Process and Operational Excellence as part of a team providing operational oversight for the Real Time Rail payments systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure high-quality, reliable releases through effective test planning, execution, quality engineering, and automation practices

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual testing approaches that support release readiness and product quality

  • Execute functional, integration, and non-functional testing activities, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved prior to release

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), review test results, and provide recommendations on release readiness

  • Collaborate with Product, Development, Operations, Security, and Release Management teams to identify risks and support successful production deployments

  • Contribute to quality metrics, release reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery effectiveness

What You Bring:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Testing, or a related role

  • Experience with functional, integration, and non-functional testing methodologies

  • Exposure to test automation tools and modern software delivery practices

  • Ability to analyze issues, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across technical and business teams

  • Experience supporting software releases or production deployments is considered an asset

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity

The hiring range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
