You as a Senior Construction Manager will:
- Provide project management and construction methodologies to a portfolio of projects across the region, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
- Lead and support project planning start-up, project financials, project pre-construction, project execution, close-out, and EHS.
- Strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage and mentor a large team including the project management group.
- Lead multiple projects from estimate to close-out.
Is this the right role for you?
- 15+ years supervisory or equivalent experience in commercial earthworks and underground utilities projects.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential.
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required.
- Experience in light and heavy civil projects would be an asset.
- PMP designation would be considered an asset.
- Must be willing to travel to projects across the region.
