Temporary 12-month position
As a credit risk data and disclosure advisor, you help mine and valorize data collected through various channels to support credit risk disclosure. You extract, analyze and interpret the data to make recommendations that facilitate business decisions. You assist clients with various initiatives that involve analyzing data and designing reports tailored to business needs. The nature of the files and projects may require you to develop your curiosity for learning, good organizational skills, the ability to connect information across team activities and areas of expertise, and sound judgment in interpreting guidelines. You contribute to the disclosure of our credit risk indicators and their quality. You also interact with key players working in other fields to understand needs and present and explain results of analyses. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Contribute to the production, validation and disclosure of credit risk reports by developing proficiency in the IT environment (Excel, SAS, SQL, OBIEE, Power BI)
- Update dashboards and contribute to updates by leveraging and analyzing data
- Implement or evolve controls to detect data anomalies, automate and simplify our processes, and comply with governance requirements
- Continuously develop and maintain report documentation (data source mapping, execution procedure, business documentation)
- Report data quality issues and contribute to their resolution as needed
- Support Desjardins Group’s strategic initiatives by contributing to impact analyses and acceptance testing for reports under your responsibility (lending platform, new source systems) to ensure business continuity and enhance the member/client experience
- Carry out ad hoc analyses and other mandates to gain business insight into the credit portfolio

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and SAS programming languages
- Proficiency with a data visualization tool
- Knowledge of credit risk and regulatory requirements related to credit risk disclosure
