You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement in the Toronto office. Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Please note this is a contract role until June 2027.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the VP Regional Sales, the Manager, Business Development Representatives (BDR) is responsible for managing the team of Business Development Representatives based in Ontario.

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ontario-based Business Development Representative (BDR) team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

  • Partner with Client Services and Sales leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and enhance the quality of client interactions, employee performance, and sales pipeline development.

  • Drive strategic projects and initiatives that support divisional objectives and contribute to the successful execution of annual Client Services and Sales business plans.

  • Collaborate proactively with Team Managers and Regional Sales Managers to ensure alignment, consistency, and seamless execution of business goals and operational priorities.

  • Engage, motivate, and influence teams across departments by clearly communicating expectations, goals, and performance standards.

  • Partner with the Campus Relations team to strengthen Fidelity's employer brand at targeted post-secondary institutions across Canada, while identifying, attracting, and interviewing top emerging talent.

  • Work closely with Sales leadership and key stakeholders to develop, implement, and continuously enhance policies, processes, and programs that support business growth and operational excellence.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and career development support to BDRs, helping them achieve their professional goals and prepare for future opportunities within the organization.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by delivering performance feedback, recognizing achievements, and supporting individual and team development initiatives.

  • Monitor team performance metrics and leverage insights to drive productivity, improve outcomes, and ensure the achievement of business objectives.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales and/or relevant experience in financial services

  • Experience managing, coaching, training, and developing employees

  • Strong communication skills

  • Completion of university degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven sales track record in financial services is an asset

For this role, your total rewards include:

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $121,000 to $139,000, based on your experience and qualifications.

  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
