The API and Integration Programmer Analyst designs, develops, secures, and supports APIs and integration services across Collabria’s technological ecosystem. You are responsible for the entire API engineering lifecycle, from design and documentation to deployment, monitoring, consumer onboarding, and production support. You work directly with internal teams, suppliers, and credit union partners to make integration services discoverable, reliable, and easy to use. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Design, develop, test and maintain REST APIs and integration services for internal applications, credit union partners, suppliers and digital channels
- Manage the versioning, documentation, decommissioning, and retirement of APIs, and ensure that consumers receive clear instructions regarding changes and integrations
- Implement reusable API patterns and contribute to the roadmap, including error-handling mechanisms, validation, performance monitoring, and relevant operational telemetry
- Configure and administer Azure API Management policies, including products, subscriptions, throttling mechanisms, analytics, and access controls
- Implement OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards, JWT token validation, as well as encryption, certificate, and secret management practices, while participating in security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and the preparation of evidence required for API and integration audits
- Develop integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, webhooks, and appropriate enterprise integration patterns. This includes integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ITSM platforms, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure services
- Design and modernize resilient workflows with recovery and retry mechanisms, including the use of Terraform, the management of dead-letter queues and reconciliation processes, when required
- Lead the technical onboarding process for credit unions and external partners, including managing credentials, certificates, connectivity, testing and production readiness coordination
- Monitor API health and use, and investigate errors, latency, failed messages, and issues reported by partners, while participating in incident management activities, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective measures
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate build, testing and deployment processes and ensure that application and infrastructure changes are coordinated as part of release and change management processes

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or an appropriate field
- At least six years of experience in API development, integration or software engineering, including production support
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Expertise with Azure integration services, REST APIs, authentication standards, and modern software development practices
- Expertise in working with external partners or in the financial services sector
- Proficiency in C#/.NET and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, JSON, XML, Git and automated testing
- Knowledge of Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub and App Services
- Knowledge of REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and certificate-based integration
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and API observability
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, infrastructure managed with Terraform and DevSecOps practices
