Bioengineering Department
Position Summary:
This Hyperbook Project supports the development and maintenance of a web-based educational resource that organizes Bioengineering course BIEN 200 materials, articles, and design content into an interactive hyperbook. The IT Assistant will organize website content, assist with content integration and editing, and help maintain the project's online resource.
Main tasks include:
- Create and maintain website and database content, including integrating course materials, articles, and related resources into the hyperbook.
- Organize, reference, proofread, copyedit, and format website and project content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Recommend improvements to website structure, content organization, and user experience.
- Perform routine website and server maintenance to support project operations
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience in the field
- Website design and maintenance skills
- High accuracy and attention to details
- Copyediting skills
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Good command of English language
Expected start date: July 27 2026
Expected end date: De 30 2026
Estimated total hours: 160 hours (around 6.5 per week)
Hourly rate: $18
