Package Handler – Warehouse Clerk

Core Duties:

• Use manual pallet jacks to unload shipments.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.

• Operate technology to scan packages on the line.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.

• Sort packages in designated areas and ensure sorting stays efficient.

• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout.

• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to reduce mis-sorts.

• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.

• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting with overnight shifts starting at 2:00am. Steel toed shoes are mandatory.

Qualifications Required:

• Able to work overnight shifts starting at 2:00am, until sort is complete (3-5 hours).
• Previous experience working in a fast paced warehouse setting.
• Required to be available to work minimum 3 days a week, including 1 weekend day.
