The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

What We Do
The Private Wealth Associate is responsible for providing ongoing support for the Relationship Managers and the Private Wealth team. This client focused role will deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth clients by maintaining and growing client relationships through portfolio administration, financial planning support, investment coordination and proactive client service. The individual in this position will have a strong financial acumen, operational excellence and relationship management skills with a passion for wealth management and client experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding account inquiries, transactions and service requests
- Build and maintain trusted relationships through proactive communication and white-glove service
- Coordinate client meetings, portfolio reviews and follow-up actions
- Assist Relationship Manager in preparing customized financial presentations and investment proposals
- Assist with problem resolution that enhances the client experience including account opening, transfers and all other transactions
Wealth Management Support:
- Support portfolio management activities, including account monitoring, rebalancing coordination and performance reporting
- Assist in developing financial plans tailored to client goals, risk tolerance and investment objectives
- Complete tasks according to outlined processes while proactively communicating with Relationship Manager
- Attend meetings with Relationship Manager when needed, provide support and documentation of interactions
Client Onboarding:
- Facilitate account opening, onboarding, transfers and account maintenance
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of client account documentation and regulatory requirements
- Process client-directed transactions with quality controls and documentation to ensure all is in good order
- Ensuring any operational task is kept onside with regulations, policy & procedure including risk mitigation
- Run client reporting for client and transactional oversight
- Work in partnership with our internal partners including Compliance, Risk, Audit, Portfolio Services Group, and Tax and Estate planning teams
Business Development:
- Support Relationship Manager with prospecting efforts, networking initiatives and client events
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and client engagement strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets and wealth planning concepts
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fast learner and effective problem solver
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in wealth management/private banking/investment operations required
- Proficiency with MS Suite, CRM systems, and portfolio management platforms required
- University Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with high net-worth or ultra-high net-worth clients is considered an asset
- CFA, CFP, CIM, or progress towards an industry designation is an asset

For this role, your total rewards include:
- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $68,000 to $79,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
- RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
