ENGL 368 Stage Scenery and Lighting 1 (3 credits – CRN 3135)

• Salary: $11,824

• Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs): Expertise in theatre production, with ability to work with woodshop power and hand-tools and specialized computer systems and software used for theatrical lighting, sound, and projection; working experience in technical production, design, and management of theatre; experience teaching in university settings and on university theatrical productions.

• Course Schedule: August 31 to December 4, 2026, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:05 am to 11:25 am.

• Course description: An introduction to the technical aspects of stage settings and theatrical lighting.

• Exigences de qualification pour l’enseignement (TQR) : Expertise en production théâtrale, avec capacité de travailler avec des outils électriques et manuels de menuiserie ainsi que des systèmes et logiciels informatiques spécialisés utilisés pour l’éclairage, le son et la projection théâtrale; expérience en production technique, conception et gestion du théâtre; expérience d’enseignement en milieu universitaire et dans des productions théâtrales universitaires

• Description du cours : Une introduction aux aspects techniques de la conception scénique et de l’éclairage théâtral.

• Horaire du cours: du 31 août au 4 décembre 2026, les mardis et jeudis de 10 h 05 à 11 h 25.
