Key Responsibilities
  • Support hands‑on laboratory testing such as wash testing, material performance testing, and comparative evaluations

  • Assist with sample tracking, test setup, data collection, and organizing test results

  • Help maintain testing documentation, checklists, and internal records to improve consistency and reduce manual rework

  • Support innovation lab workflows, including basic equipment setup, testing queues, and upkeep of shared lab tools

  • Assist team analysts with data entry, report formatting, and summary preparation

  • Support process improvement initiatives related to testing templates, lab organization, and standard work

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (Product Development, Design, QA) as needed for testing support

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a co‑op or internship program in Textile Science, Materials Science, Design Technology, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test protocols and procedures

  • Comfortable working hands‑on with physical samples, lab equipment, and data

  • Ability to organize information clearly and manage multiple tasks

  • Comfortable working in Excel and basic data tracking tools

  • Curious, proactive, and willing to ask questions

Nice to Have
  • Previous lab, testing, or technical co‑op experience

  • Interest in apparel, footwear, or material performance

  • Exposure to product development or quality testing environments

What the Student Will Gain
  • Hands‑on experience with real product testing and innovation work used in live assortments

  • Exposure to textile and material performance testing in a retail environment

  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Product Development, QA, and Innovation teams

  • A strong foundation in testing standards, documentation, and lab processes
