Join Loblaw Technology and Analytics and be part of the Specialty Health Technology team, supporting the SHN (Specialty Health Network) business, a division of Shoppers Drug Mart and part of the Loblaw group of companies.

SHN provides end-to-end support for specialty medications, helping Canadians navigate complex treatment journeys and improve access to therapies that can have a life-changing impact. The Specialty Health Technology team enables this work through technology platforms and solutions that connect patients, pharmacies, healthcare professionals, programs, data and enterprise systems.

The Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce) - Specialty Health Technology

As a Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce), you will be part of the Specialty Health Technology team, building and evolving large-scale Salesforce solutions that support the SHN business. Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud is at the core of the solution, while the broader technology environment connects with enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud services, APIs and emerging AI capabilities.

This role is well suited to an experienced Salesforce professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to work beyond a traditional Salesforce environment. You will bring your Salesforce development expertise while having opportunities to work across cloud, data, integrations and AI.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and enhance large-scale Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Flow and Salesforce APIs, translating complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture, development standards, coding practices, source control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, quality engineering, release planning, and production implementation to support reliable, high-quality solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud services, working with teams across data, cloud, AI, and application engineering.
  • Continuously improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of solutions while exploring and applying emerging AI capabilities and enterprise technologies.
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, with experience building and delivering complex, large-scale Salesforce applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex,LWC, Flow, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience developing solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce architecture, software development lifecycle, source control, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications and enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and work through challenging technical problems.
Great to Have
  • Experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II or Platform App Builder certification.
