MISSION

The Coordinator, Product Flow is responsible for managing product flow for Core and Feature period items as well as proactively communicating and updating key business partners on item exceptions and issues. In addition, this role will provide support to the Planning & Inventory Management team, specifically with reporting and managing inventory in the store and online channels.

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Completion/accuracy of projects/tasks within a specified time period
  • Effective communication with functional teams
  • Decreased cycle time through the Indigo Distribution Center
  • Improved visibility on item order status for Planning, Merchants, Supply Chain

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Functional

  • Actively track incoming vendor purchase orders, working with partners in DC Operations, Supply Chain Analysts, Vendors to understand and communicate current order status
  • Engage with Planning and Category teams to proactively communicate exceptions and issues
  • Act as the main point of contact for Indigo's Distribution Centre's for:
    • The Distribution Centre Watch List and the OD Exclusion List
    • General Merchandise DC RUSH communications
  • Act as the main point of contact for third-party vendors and logistics partners
  • Monitor in-stock readiness for turnovers and key programs
  • Consolidate tasks across General Merchandise/Print businesses, including DC to DC transfers
  • Assist with heat tickets and in the resolution process

Qualifications

Work Experience / Education / Certifications

  • College/University education program preferred
  • Work experience in retail is an asset

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skill set, quantitatively oriented
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn new technical applications and tools quickly
