In the role of Draftsperson, you will be instrumental in creating and optimizing the technical drawings that drive our manufacturing and innovation projects. Working closely with technical and production teams, your expertise in developing detailed designs will ensure that our products are accurately and efficiently produced, directly contributing to the competitiveness and excellence of our organization.

  • Develop and produce detailed technical drawings using specialized software (Solidworks, Geomatic, and Bras Faro), including the effective use of 2D/3D scanners and Bras Faro devices to prepare production and manufacturing plans – roughly 50% of your workload.
  • Actively participate in the development of innovative design concepts that meet project requirements, proposing technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Analyze existing parts to develop replicas or improvements through reverse engineering projects.
  • Make adjustments or modifications to drawings based on internal team or client feedback to optimize product performance.
  • Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings that help streamline production processes.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software including SolidWorks, Geomatic, and Bras Faro.
  • French and English bilingualism required to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients across Canada.
