As the Hair and Makeup Artist, you will contribute to Laura's success by executing daily hair and makeup styles on ecommerce and content models as well as occasionally on Laura employees. As part of the in-house studio team, you will ensure that all HMU is consistent with the Laura and Melanie Lyne beauty direction and that productivity targets are met.

How will you support the team?

• Collaborate effectively with Head of Studio, Art Direction, to achieve the desired look for each brand/model.
• Efficiently execute hair and makeup to constantly meet on-set production targets.
• Ensure the maintenance of each model's beauty direction throughout the seasons.
• Maintain strict standards of quality control and provides on-set touch-ups to maintain the desired look throughout the shoot.
• Supply and come equipped with all materials and maintain a bank of HMU products.
• Acquire and sterilize makeup equipment, such as brushes, applicators, and organizers and maintain a strict hygiene standards and sanitary workstation.
• Support the creation of new beauty directions, while respecting the Laura and Melanie Lyne identity and beauty guidelines.
• Stay informed and maintain up-to-date knowledge of fresh beauty trends, products, tools, and techniques, and ensure products used are suitable for various skin types and tones.

The people who thrive with us have:

• A certificate or diploma in a relevant cosmetology field, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in editorial or commercial production
• A strong portfolio showcasing makeup artistry for various styles and skin tones
• Strong knowledge in all hair textures and makeup tones, tools and techniques
• An excellent understanding of lighting and its effects on makeup for photography and videography
• Exceptional attention to detail and creativity
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and to adapt to last-minute changes
• Familiarity with fashion and editorial makeup trends
