We are seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration.
The successful candidate will work closely with leaders and employees across the organization to support day-to-day HR operations and help create a positive and engaging employee experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation to help create a welcoming experience for new employees.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, initiatives and employee records.
  • Coordinate and support newcomer settlement activities, including relocation assistance and community integration support.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, team events and HR activities.
  • Support workforce planning, reporting and other HR projects as required.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team members to support staffing and operational needs.
  • Ensure HR processes are completed in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within Human Resources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail .
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook .
  • Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative and team-oriented approach .
  • Previous co-op, internship or customer service experience is considered an asset .
