JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Stores Team Leader to support warehouse, inventory, and maintenance activities for Irving Paper, Limited. This role is responsible for coordinating the storage, movement, retrieval, and management of parts, while ensuring the department is safe, organized, and efficient.
The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day coordination, support maintenance activities, manage obsolete and capital project inventory, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on warehouse experience, proficiency with various mobile equipment and our E1 CMMS. Candidate must also be able to participate in our rotating after-hours 24/7 on-call schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision of Stores personnel and Stores processes
  • Managing the rebuildable inventory program
  • Managing surplus, obsolescence and new items
  • Managing vending machine access & reporting
  • Medius processing for Stores purchasing
  • Data management for inventory items
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage selected ASCO Project initiatives and other improvement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

  • Technology or Trade diploma, Red Seal Journeyperson certification, or equivalent maintenance or material handling related education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong Leadership competencies including communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience with JD Edwards (E1) or equivalent CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, material handling, asset management.
  • Experience managing bills of materials, inventory data, and spare parts programs.
