JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Major Accounts Coordinator, based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of strategic customers. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while proactively monitoring and managing customer accounts. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer retention and business growth initiatives.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take ownership of assigned key accounts and portfolios, ensuring customer expectations are met and an exceptional customer experience is delivered.
• Proactively monitor and review assigned accounts to identify and prevent potential issues.
• Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are handled promptly and escalated as required to provide superior customer service.
• Assist with the onboarding of new customer accounts.
• Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and period-end reports in a variety of formats.
• Communicate with Operations and Sales teams as required, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of issues and developments.
• Provide support to the Customer Service team during periods of high call volume.
• Coordinate special freight movements, trace shipments, and investigate billing adjustments and service concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum High School Diploma required; College Diploma considered an asset.
• 2 to 5 years of call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English and French) with strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is considered an asset.
• Passionate and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance value for customers.
• Quick learner with the ability to assimilate new information effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Ability to take ownership and drive resolution when issues arise.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
