JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the General Labourer will be responsible for various tasks that support the overall operation of the production on shift.
Wage Rates:
Day Shift: $22.67/hour
Afternoon & Night Shift: $23.17/hour (includes $0.50/hour shift premium)
Work location: 303 Milo Rd, Wheatley, ON
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Removing products that do not meet quality specifications
  • Following all food safety procedures and reporting any concerns
  • Performing a variety of production-related tasks throughout the facility
  • Working safely and following company health and safety policies
  • Assisting with general housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area
  • Supporting overall production operations to help the team succeed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset
  • Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a structured environment
  • Willingness to work in various departments and take on different responsibilities
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
  • Understanding of food safety practices or willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
