  • Provide insight and analysis to support financial decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project changes from a cost perspective, including documenting changes and managing budgets aligned to approved scope and funding.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce operational and financial risk.

  • Enable team success by leveraging a variety of analytical and automation tools, including Microsoft Excel (VBA), SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python, to achieve supply chain objectives.
  • Ensure cost management systems and databases are configured to accurately track budgets, commitments, and actual costs.
  • Drive the administration, maintenance, and continued development of procurement systems and databases.
  • Increase automation and reporting efficiency to enhance operational productivity.
  • Develop and deliver new reporting formats and analytical methods to support evolving project and program needs.

Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver clear, concise program and cost performance updates to Project and Executive Leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Establish, implement, and enforce data collection policies, processes, and governance standards.
  • Document, communicate, and monitor analytical and reporting procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar).
  • 4-7+ years of project management experience in an industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or shipbuilding environment.
  • Proven experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, complex setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Previous people-leader experience (considered an asset, but not a requirement).
