JOB DESCRIPTION
Spill responders are contributors to the spill response team. They report directly to the spill response technical lead or designate to perform and supervise equipment maintenance and keep operational reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We require spill responders to supervise and execute all aspects of spill response preparedness and operations, which includes equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, participating in training and exercises. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accountability for assigned personnel's safety and welfare
• Scheduling outsourced maintenance
• Supervising on water and shoreline operations
• Performing scheduled maintenance work orders
• Operating maintenance software
• Participate in specific oil spill response training as required
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance
• Class 3 driver's license or the ability to acquire it within 9 months

• HIAB crane
• MED A3 or greater
• Fall arrest basic training (optional)
• First aid/CPR
• ICS 100
