JOB DESCRIPTION

Midland Transport is currently seeking an Appointment Coordinator, reporting to the Office Manager at the Dieppe, NB Terminal facility. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule, manage, and coordinate delivery appointments via Phone, email, and customer portals.
• Pre alert the dock and dispatch teams with shipments due the following day.
• Coordinate all special delivery instructions.
• Provide Superior Quality Service to our internal and external customers at all times.
• Complete various Terminal Administrative support functions, including back up support when needed to drive business improvements and satisfy customer ongoing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma, college diploma preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced group environment
• Well organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry an asset
• Bilingualism is an asset but not required
