RESPONSIBILITIES
The Site Data Lead is the data and systems focused member of the continuous improvement team. This role will design, implement, and manage the Reporting and Analytics strategy in support of the overall Corporate Data Strategy and support in Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site. The Site data lead will design and develop user-friendly reporting and analytics solutions, products, and services using data gathered from multiple streams of data, including production systems, machine sensors, and software.

  • Build tools, dashboards, and applications to make the way our employees work easier, quicker, and more informed
  • Troubleshoot machine, equipment, and technology issues occurring at the site and develop solutions to improve them
  • Lead and coordinate data related projects across the site
  • Design, configure, and manage databases to ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of the organizations data
  • Support, design, and implement training material across the site
  • Support the business improvement strategy across the site

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postsecondary education in Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar fields of study
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting solutions using Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx
  • Experience querying SQL/NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs
  • Experience designing, developing, and communicating KPI's to business stakeholders
  • Experience creating mockups and prototypes to facilitate report design
  • Experience developing reporting solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and easy to maintain
  • Exposure to AVEVA OSISoft, Pi, PARCview, ITop/RtDuet, JD Edwards
  • Advanced skills in data analysis is an asset (Power BI, SQL Server, Excel, MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate)
