JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment in our facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, restocking supplies, and performing minor maintenance tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain the interior and limited exterior of the building, including hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, floors and stairs.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues and replenish cleaning supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a requirement (1 to 3 years)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have safety footwear (CSA approved)
