Rentals Associate

Job Description:

We are currently accepting applications for the permanent, full time position of Rentals Associate for Spring Valley Building Centre.

The position includes:

• Assisting customers, providing excellent customer service, and providing product information
• Creating rental contracts for customers and contractors
• Responsible for the safe and efficient use of rental tools, helping customers with questions and resolving their problems
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and requests for additional items such as consumables
• Maintain inventory to know what is available for customer requests as well as replacing damaged items
• Clean rented tools according to company standards
• Help put away used tools and prepare new ones for renting out
• Ensuring store facility is kept clean, organized, and well maintained
• Additional duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience working with hand & power tools
• Small tool repair
• Multitasking and organizational skills
• Customer service oriented
• Handle heavy loads up to 45kg (100lbs)
