Siding Installer
Employer: Vanguard Construction Inc.

Vanguard Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Siding Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on residential and commercial construction projects in Prince Edward Island.

Job Duties:

• Install, repair and replace exterior siding, including vinyl, wood, fibre cement, metal and composite siding.
• Measure, cut and fit siding materials according to project specifications.
• Install soffit, fascia, trim and flashing.
• Prepare exterior surfaces for siding installation.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings and measurements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work site.
• Work effectively with supervisors and other construction team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Experience in siding installation or exterior construction is an asset.
• Ability to use construction hand and power tools.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
