Packaging Technician

Job Description:

The role ensures orders are accurately weighed, labeled, packaged, sampled, and inspected in compliance with SOPs, regulations, and quality standards.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced, team-oriented role within a growing organization, requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging

• Accurately package cannabis flower, pre-rolls, and oils in compliance with regulations and company SOPs
• Perform quality checks and support maintenance of packaging equipment

Inventory Management

• Support inventory tracking of bulk and pre-packaged products
• Ensure accurate labeling and data entry in inventory systems

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks

Other Duties

• Hand-harvesting cannabis products as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in regulated packaging or similar environment (asset)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours (40/week)
• Must be 19+ and able to provide a clean criminal record check
• Physical & Work Conditions
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks during 8-hour shifts
• Comfortable working in a regulated, sterile production environment using cleaning agents and PPE
• Suitable for fast-paced, repetitive, production-focused work
