Scrap Line General Labourer

Our client is seeking a General Labourer to join their team. As a General Labourer, you will be part of the scrap line team, supporting day-to-day production and recycling-focused operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to follow clear instructions consistently-helping the team keep materials moving efficiently.

Job Title: Scrap Line General Labourer

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay Rate: $21 - $23 per hr

Shift: 6:30am - 3pm / 3pm -11:30pm

What's the Job?

• Use an impact gun to remove screws and bars from cages.
• Remove plastic IBC from empty cages and prepare materials for processing.
• Lift empty plastic IBCs onto tables safely and efficiently.
• Remove chemical residue from IBCs and dump residue into collecting totes.
• Cut plastic bottles into pieces as part of the scrap line process.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety instructions.
• Comfort working in a production environment where there may be chemical smell (mask provided).
• Willingness to perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling materials.
• Reliability and punctuality to support shift coverage and workflow.
• Basic ability to work with tools and follow step-by-step directions.
