Yard Supervisor

Our client, a leader in industrial operations, is seeking a Yard Supervisor to join their team. As a Yard Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting plant efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Yard Supervisor
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $90k-$100k
Shift: 6:30am - 3pm

What's the Job?

• Lead and supervise yard operations to ensure safety and efficiency
• Coordinate daily and weekly yard activities in alignment with plant schedules
• Manage yard staff, temporary workers, and contractors effectively
• Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and safety meetings
• Support environmental compliance and maintain high housekeeping standards

What's Needed?

• Supervisory experience in industrial or related environments
• Industrial experience, with leadership skills to plan, organize, and lead teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to promote a safety culture
• Experience with MS Office and SAP is an asset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and drive continuous improvement
