Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the General Helper supports day-to-day plant operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks, including part preparation, material handling, equipment cleaning, and general work area maintenance. Working closely with operators and specialized technicians, the General Helper helps keep production running smoothly while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move parts throughout the facility;

Assist with preparing parts for processing, including degreasing, cleaning, and masking;

Clean work areas, equipment, and tools according to established procedures;

Assist operators during processing and inspection activities;

Help sort, package, and label parts;

Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors;

Safely operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts;

Report any issues, irregularities, or non-conformities identified during production;

Follow all company health, safety, and quality standards;

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills
-
Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks safely and efficiently;

Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment;
-
Ability to use basic hand tools, such as screwdrivers and utility knives;
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
Personal Skills

Versatile and eager to learn;

Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift or handle materials;
