Kindergarten helper and supervisor in an immersion context.
Candidate will assume the following responsibilities:
- Help the teacher plan and organize activities for the kindergarten class (4 years old children - in English)
- Have children participate in activities where they will work on their affective, sensory/motor, social, cognitive, and language development.
- Help with organizing the class and preparing material
- Supervise lunch and recesses
- Supervise afterschool daycare (until 5:30pm), (according to the established schedule)
- Part-time (around 25h/week) or full-time (around 35h/week)
- Regular schedule from 12pm to 5:30pm (part-time) or 10:15 am to 17:30pm (full-time)
- Experience working with young children
- Excellent competencies in the use of the English language
- Basic knowledge of the French language
- Dynamic and resourceful person who loves teamwork
- Good organization skills
- Leadership, judgment and autonomy
