Product Owner

A career as a Product Owner within the Finance Evolution team at National Bank means acting as a change leader. You will report to the Senior Manager Business Intelligence Center - Finance. This role allows you to make a positive and tangible impact on the transformation of the Finance function through your leadership, visionary mindset, and ability to mobilize stakeholders in a complex and constantly evolving environment.

Your job

• Product Vision: Define and evolve the product vision in collaboration with business partners to ensure alignment between business objectives and user needs
• Value Management: Maximize the business value generated by the initiatives under your responsibility by continuously making decisions regarding scope, priorities, and delivery sequencing
• Backlog Management and Prioritization: Ensure rigorous product backlog management through the definition of expected business outcomes, value metrics, and product success criteria
• Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (business, operations, architecture, technology, and subject matter experts) to ensure a shared understanding of objectives, needs, risks, and expected outcomes
• Product Evolution: Lead the product lifecycle by ensuring its continuous evolution, the enhancement of business capabilities, the reduction of functional debt, and, when appropriate, the retirement of obsolete features or solutions

Within the Finance Evolution team, you will be part of a committed group dedicated to the success of Finance transformation initiatives and will contribute to strategic projects. Business Intelligence Centre - FinanceOur team stands out for its role in advancing the Bank through the modernization of the ecosystem in which it operates.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of six years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of four years of relevant experience in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders
• Experience defining product vision, developing roadmaps, and managing business value
• Experience delivering solutions as a Product Owner (P.O.)
• Demonstrated ability to influence, mobilize, and make decisions in a matrix environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey ideas effectively to multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of bank capital management and the Finance, Risk, or Treasury sectors
• Experience working in a regulated environment with high requirements for data quality, controls, and auditability
