Sales advisor

Under the supervision of the Showroom Director, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the client in his process of choosing flooring and purchasing ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, carpets, installation products, advising them on the products that meet their needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome customers and provide personalized guidance throughout their projects;
• Respond to phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional follow-up;
• Assess customer needs, plan projects, and prepare quotes, orders, and transfers;
• Follow up on orders and keep customers informed of their status and progress;
• Contribute to achieving the branch's sales targets;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends;
• Manage and update showroom samples, including displays, orders, and labels;
• Contribute to product merchandising and the overall presentation of the showroom;
• Demonstrate autonomy, organization, and a proactive approach to managing customer files and follow-ups;
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment focused on mutual support and strong working relationships.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Be available to work Thursday evenings and Saturdays during the day (40 hours per week);
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service, with a minimum of one year of experience;
• Proficiency in French and an intermediate level of English are preferred, in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking customers and various stakeholders;
• Be recognized for positive leadership and a strong team spirit;
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently;
• Education or training related to design, architecture, or interior design is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of various types of floor and wall coverings is considered an asset.
