Network architect

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a network architect motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to design and evolve the organization's network architecture, define connectivity norms, topologies and standards, ensure network performance, resilience and security, oversee technology choices, and act as an advisor to the teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design target network architectures: topologies, segmentation, routing and connectivity.
• Define network architecture and cloud connectivity norms, standards and principles.
• Embed performance, resilience, capacity and security requirements.
• Assess and recommend network technologies, equipment and services.
• Produce architecture documents, diagrams and technical specifications.
• Guide administration teams and validate compliance with the target architecture.
• Collaborate with enterprise, security and cloud architects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum five (05) years of experience as a Network Architect.
• Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
• Hold one of the following certifications: Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco CCIE, AZ-305.
• Hold one of the following certifications (an asset): TOGAF, CWNE, AZ-104.
• Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English
