We are now hiring full-time Food Assemblers to work in our Food & Tray Assembly Departments at our flight kitchen located at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia.

A Food Assembler will be required to:

• Assemble meals, appetizers, desserts, or passenger meal trays depending on which department you're chosen for, to exacting customer specifications
• Strictly follow all relevant food safety protocols
• Work safely at all times, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines
• Ensure all food and equipment boarded is safe and complies with airline-related security requirements

Job Specific Requirements:

• Obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
• Manage your time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

• Work in a detailed and methodical manner while adhering to tight timelines dictated by the airline industry
• Work an assigned schedule which may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work overtime when required
• Arrive to work on time
• Pass a criminal background check
• Follow directions and communicate with supervisors and co-workers
• Depending on the position, work a significant number of hours per day in a temperature-reduced environment
• Work as a member of a team within their department and work closely with various other departments
• Lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Rate of Pay:

CA$21.48 per hour
