Retail Store Supervisor

Position: Retail Store Supervisor
Wage: CAD$24.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including weekends and holidays)
Working hours: hours/week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff;
Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules;
Authorize payments by cheque, product exchanges, and returns of merchandise;
Maintain inventory levels and ensure merchandise is adequately stocked;
Order merchandise and arrange for replenishment of low-stock items;
Use knowledge of audio, video, electronic, and related consumer products to provide information and recommendations to customers;
Maintain sales records for inventory control;
Resolve customer complaints and address customer inquiries in a professional manner;
Train staff and monitor staff performance;
Ensure the store, display areas, and merchandise are maintained clean and organized;
Arrange and maintain product displays, promotional materials, and signage.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required;
2-3 years of retail sales experience is required.
