About the Role

We're looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance insurance operations and customer experiences. You'll collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, actuaries, and insurance specialists to build scalable machine learning models, generative AI applications, and intelligent automation solutions that drive innovation across our platform.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models for insurance applications.
Build AI-powered solutions for underwriting, claims processing, fraud detection, pricing, and customer support.
Develop and optimize generative AI and large language model (LLM) applications where applicable.
Prepare, clean, and engineer structured and unstructured data for model training.
Integrate AI models into production systems with software engineering teams.
Monitor model performance and continuously improve model accuracy and reliability.
Develop scalable AI pipelines and MLOps workflows.
Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Document technical designs, model performance, and implementation processes.
Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience developing machine learning and AI-powered applications.
Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of data engineering, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or insurance technology is considered an asset.
