About the Opportunity

Process payroll accurately and on a timely basis for hourly and salaried employees.

Review and validate timesheets, payroll inputs, and supporting documentation.

Ensure payroll data is complete, accurate, and ready for processing.

Manage payroll adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related changes.

Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and year-end documentation.

Support the preparation of payroll-related reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports.

Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with applicable policies, legislation, and regulations.

Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to maintain accurate employee and payroll records.

Assist with year-end payroll activities and required government filings.

Respond to payroll-related questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information.

Prioritize responsibilities and consistently meet payroll deadlines.

Collaborate effectively with team members and support broader payroll and finance initiatives.

About You

3+ years of progressive, hands-on payroll experience.

Experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and audit support.

Strong knowledge of payroll practices, legislation, and compliance requirements.

Experience with payroll systems and strong Excel skills.

Payroll certification or equivalent education and experience is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet recurring deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 / year
