The successful candidate will be a strategic development leader and accomplished fundraiser, responsible for shaping and leading a national fundraising entity in support of the company's significant cultural institutions. This role involves working closely with the Foundation's Board of Directors and the President and CEO of the company to establish and lead the Foundation's fundraising strategy and operations. The President will be tasked with driving the planning and launch of a comprehensive fundraising campaign, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and sponsorships. They must be a visionary, entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in securing major gifts and leading fundraising campaigns, and have the ability to build and manage a high-performing fundraising team. Key responsibilities for the President include developing the Foundation's inaugural strategic and multi-year fundraising plan, ensuring it is aligned with the company's vision and priorities, and acting as the official spokesperson of the Foundation. The role also requires strong governance, compliance, and accountability, as well as the ability to foster a culture of philanthropy and shared purpose. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or advancement, and a clear understanding of the value of the company's mission. They should be adept at building trusted relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers, and be committed to the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
