Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the industrial maintenance department supporting the production and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety protocols, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Stayner, ON

Pay Range: $40 per hour ($1+ for shift premium)

Shift: 4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using blueprints and schematics.
• Set up machinery for production runs and ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• Experience in preventive maintenance, machine setup, and machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of millwright skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Criminal background check clearance (CRC) for Canada.
• Willingness to work the specified evening shift.
