What does your role involve?
- Ensure the preparation, cooking and plating of dishes according to established standards
- Support the chef and the brigade during service, particularly during high-volume periods
- Participate in the mise en place and ensure the efficient organization of workstations
- Contribute to consistent, high-quality execution, respecting established recipes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards (MAPAQ)
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Collaborate closely with all members of the kitchen team
- Perform any other related duties tied to the smooth operation of the kitchen
Required qualifications
- DVS in cooking or equivalent training
- Relevant experience in a similar position (ideally in a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting)
- Knowledge of MAPAQ standards
- Attention to detail, sense of organization, autonomy and team spirit
- Professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
