_ Marshall Construction Company is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Class 1 Operator - Swing to join our team._
_Responsibilities_
_ Operate cranes, telebelts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on residential/commercial construction sites. _
_Labour duties required when not operating or when site needs arise_
_ Transport, set up, and operate crane and telebelt units in accordance with site requirements and manufacturer guidelines. _
_ Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials in compliance with safety and transportation regulations. _
_ Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, equipment inspections, logbooks, and routine maintenance checks. _
_ Perform lifting operations, material placement, and telebelt concrete/material delivery safely and accurately. _
_ Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. _
_ Maintain clean, professional vehicles, equipment, and work areas. _
_ Communicate effectively with supervisors, ground personnel, and site crews to ensure safe operations. _
_ Qualifications _
_ Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence for minimum of three years. _
_ Crane ( _ Atlas 33 CS's and Hiab 410) and Telebelt _ operating experience is an asset. _
_ Experience hauling and transporting heavy equipment is an asset. _
_ Manual transmission experience required. _
_ Valid crane operator certification/tickets considered a strong asset. _
_ Clean Driver's Abstract (maximum 3 demerit points). _
_ Construction or concrete forming experience is an asset. _
_ Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test. _
_ Requirements _
_ Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs). _
_ Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. _
_ Available for overtime and occasional Saturdays. _
_ Ability to travel to job sites throughout Central Alberta. _
_ Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety. _
_ Excellent awareness of safe lifting practices, load handling, and site hazards. _
